Privacy Policy

Effective September 27, 2026

About this policy

This policy explains what information AMW Med Spa (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, amwmedspa.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

This policy covers the website only. Medical information you give us as a patient, in the clinic, on intake forms or in your chart, is protected health information under federal law (HIPAA). It is covered by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which we give you at your first visit and which you can ask for at any time.

Information we collect

This website does not ask you to type in your name, contact details or health information. We collect:

  • Information you choose to give us when you call, email or book. Online booking takes you to our scheduling provider, OptiMantra, where you enter the details needed for your appointment (such as your name, phone, email and the service you want). That information is handled by OptiMantra for us under its own security practices.
  • Website usage information, collected automatically by Google Analytics: pages you view, how you got here (for example a search, a link or an ad, including campaign tags in the link), device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and whether you clicked to call, book or get directions.
  • Technical information our hosting provider (Vercel) records to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address and request logs.

Consumer health data (Nevada)

Nevada law protects “consumer health data”, information that identifies a person and relates to their health, including interest in health or aesthetic treatments. Because the pages you view on this site can show interest in a specific treatment, some website usage information may count as consumer health data.

We collect it only to operate the website, understand which information visitors find useful, and measure whether our own marketing brings people to the site. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with advertising platforms to target ads to you without your consent.

You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; to see a list of the third parties we share it with; to have it deleted; and to withdraw any consent you gave. To make a request, see “How to contact us” below. We respond within 45 days, and we won’t treat you differently for making a request.

How we use information

  • To run the website, keep it secure and fix problems.
  • To understand which pages and treatments visitors look at, so we can improve the information we provide.
  • To measure how visitors find us, including which of our own marketing campaigns and links bring people to the site.
  • To respond when you call or email, and to schedule and manage appointments you book.

Who we share information with

We share information only with companies that help us run the website and our practice, under agreements that limit how they use it:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website.
  • Google (Google Analytics), which measures website use for us. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and we never send names, phone numbers, email addresses or health details to Google Analytics.
  • OptiMantra, our scheduling and practice-management provider, which receives the details you enter when you book.
  • Our phone, text and email providers, when you contact us or receive appointment confirmations.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the safety of patients or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the practice. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and your choices

  • Google Analytics uses cookies to tell new and returning visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics for you.
  • This site does not use advertising pixels (such as a Facebook/Meta pixel). If we add ad measurement in the future, we will update this policy first and will not use it to share consumer health data without your consent.

Your Nevada rights

Nevada residents may ask us not to sell their personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you may still send a request, and we will confirm it. You may also make the consumer health data requests described above.

Security and how long we keep information

We use reasonable safeguards: the site is served only over an encrypted connection, and our providers are chosen for their security practices. No website is completely secure, so please do not send medical details by email.

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Appointment information is kept in your patient record as required by law.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change affects how we use consumer health data, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
